An end to business class?
Monday, 14 September 2009 07:27

Andrew Winston, writing recently for Harvard Business publishing, posed the question “will videoconferencing kill business class travel?” The current economy might be hastening that process. The big companies are using a combination of high-end telepresence systems and other systems that can provide easy, everyday access.  IP Visuals focus is on the latter, providing a way to communicate face to face without concern for geography.

Companies that have embraced visual communications are saving millions. Winston points to British Telecom, who saved US$330 million per year on time and travel costs.

IP Visuals makes it easy to keep on top of the savings you make, both in costs to your business and to the environment. Each visual communication, whether it’s a call or a meeting, is calculated to show travel time saved and the reduction in CO2 emissions.

So, skip the business class travel and increase productivity in the office. There’s more leg room and the coffee is probably better too!
